The European Investigative Journalism Conference

Dataharvest 2026 tickets are now on sale!

Ticket sales for Dataharvest – the European Investigative Journalism Conference 2026 are now open. Get your ticket here and join us in Mechelen!

This year, we’ll once again welcome over 500 investigative and data journalists in Mechelen, Belgium, for three days of learning, networking, and collaboration. The conference runs from Friday, 29 May 2025 to Sunday, 25 May 2025, closing in the early afternoon. Those eager to get an extra full day of in-depth investigative training can book a ticket for one of the masterclasses on Thursday, 28 May 2025.

As always, the conference will feature a mix of hands-on sessions, presentations of investigations and tools, panels, and roundtables. The conference is a meeting point for both seasoned and emerging investigative and data journalists, and we’ll do our best to facilitate both structured and informal networking opportunities. To contribute to the programme, please submit your proposals by 18 January 2026 via our call for proposals form.

Last year, tickets for Dataharvest sold out by the end of January, leaving many unable to attend – especially those who’d submitted proposals and were waiting to hear whether they’d been accepted. This year, tickets will be released in two rounds: the second batch will go on sale in early February, once the programme curation work is well on its way and speakers’ spots will have been confirmed.

Ticket prices have remained largely unchanged: the standard conference tickets are sold at €325, and discounts are available for freelancers and students. Attendance grants will also be available for attendees from the Southern, Eastern, and Central European countries, as well as for journalists in exile this year. More information about the grants will be published in January 2026.
