Ticket sales are open for Dataharvest, the European Investigative Journalism Conference 2024! Get your ticket here!
At the beginning of Summer 2024, more than 500 European investigative journalists will come together in Mechelen, Belgium, to learn, network and build collaborations. The three day conference opens on May 31, 2024 at 10 am, with a day beforehand for master classes, and will have tonnes of hands-on and inspirational sessions on the latest in investigative journalism from journalists from across Europe.
The Dataharvest conference is a meeting place for experienced and new investigative and data journalists. Many of the best cross-border stories in recent years began over a cup of coffee at Dataharvest (or a good Belgian beer, of course).
We have 100 tickets at the bargain early bird price of €240 – on sale until February 1 or until sold out, after which tickets are €300 (cheaper for groups, freelancers and students, check the registration page). Last year tickets for Dataharvest sold out, so make sure you get your ticket early!
If you’re coming to Mechelen, why not come a day earlier? On Thursday May 30, we have three full-day master classes where you can dive into vital working methods for investigative journalists: Right to information cross-border, open source intelligence, on understanding scientific method. On the same day, there is also the time-honoured Hackday, where data journalists and nerds clean data sets and exchange tips and methods. The choice is yours!
See you in Mechelen!
